This tribal rug is a Caucasian Kurdish Kazak hand woven runner from the early 20th C. It is 100% wool with wool foundation and hand-knotted with geometric borders and lozenge shaped medallions in a pole design on a rust-colored field. It is in excellent condition for its age and use.
